Our consulting engagements typically address four recurring problem types. Each one has a defined deliverable and a defined outcome — not open-ended billable hours.

Material Selection
Matching polymer chemistry to application requirements: temperature range, chemical exposure, load, UV, food contact, regulatory certification. We evaluate candidates and deliver a ranked recommendation with trade-off documentation.
Failure Analysis
Field failures, brittle fractures, warpage, discoloration, and degradation traced to root cause. We combine visual inspection, DSC/TGA testing, and processing data review to give you an answer — not a hypothesis list.
Cost Reduction
Grade substitution, filler optimization, regrind strategies, and processing adjustments that reduce material cost without compromising specification. Validated against your current part performance baseline.
Regulatory Compliance
FDA food-contact, biocompatibility (ISO 10993), UL 94 flame rating, RoHS, REACH, and automotive-specific standards (PPAP documentation). We identify compliant materials and provide the documentation trail your customers require.

Assessment
Fixed scope / 1–5 business days
For single-question problems where you need an expert opinion fast. Includes a written findings report with a clear recommendation.
